W3C The Consortium

A) What does W3C do? It creates recommendations for the WEB.
B) Where is W3C located? It is hosted in MIT, ERCIM, and KEIO University.
C) How is W3C funded? It receives funds from W3C member dues, research grants, and individual donations and money.
D) What is the difference between www and W3C? W3C is the world wide web and www is the internet which is a whole bunch of networks.
E) What does it mean that Tim Berners-Lee invented the web? He wrote the first web browser, server, and webpage. He basically wrote the www first.
F)What is the difference between open source and open standard? Open source is considered as software and open standard is considered as a document.
